We wish to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves, Siog Moore, RGN Neonatal specialist and Collette Avery, RSA TEFL and Montessori Teacher, as owners of Little Land and to take you on a tour of our website. We hope all of your questions will be answered with regards to your pre school childs education and development. Little Land is dedicated to providing a caring, stimulating environment and quality education for your pre school child. All of our teachers have formal nursery teaching qualifications and we also encourage our assistant staff to study Nursery teaching methods. The playground is spacious and divided into four large shaded areas. At Little Land we aim to provide your child with the best facilities to develop his/her self-confidence and independence. Our nursery section is for children under 2 ½ years and is staffed by N.N.E.B (or equivalent) teachers. The children are taught in a traditional nursery environment, with a schedule that includes - play with traditional toys - construction Duplo, puzzles, cars, farms, home corner etc. Play dough, painting and colouring (free style), sand play, water play, music and movement, exploration of the environment and much much more. The Montessori section is for children over 2 ½ in September of the academic year ( in which they start). The Montessori classroom is divided into six areas: art, practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics and culture, which include geography and science.
