The Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) is a voluntary, non-government organization (NGO) devoted to protecting our environment through the means of education, action programs and community involvement. Our organization is open to men and women of all nationalities. We are actively encouraged by concerned local and federal government agencies. EEG is the first environmental NGO in the world to be accredited with the ISO 14001 certification for its environment management system. The EEG started in September 1991 and has since grown considerably in members. The group has more than 1200 names on the mailing list which includes individual and corporate members, federal and local government agencies, universities, colleges and schools, as well as reputed international institutions.
